Rules for Living?

At the beginning of the new millennium, the Dalai Lama suggested ‘eighteen rules for living’.  See what you think of these yourselves; I personally think they’re rather good:

  1. No. 15: Be gentle with the earth. This is the kind of philosophy we ought to live by. When we turn on the news, we should here these peaceful words and music instead of wars. Let’s respect ourselves and the planet once more by living in peace.
